Slimesynthzer

Cinder block, conductive silicone slime, Arduino, laptop

A cinder block coated in conductive silicone slime and wired to an Arduino. As the slime is pressed, stretched and left to settle, its changing resistance is read as continuous MIDI.

The piece treats the slime’s instability as the instrument: rather than a clean signal, the drift itself becomes the sound.
